Solution Architect — Network & Security (TL3)
Job Summary
Role Purpose
Independently own end-to-end solution design for assigned opportunities across ICT Datacentre Cloud and Cybersecurity — from requirement analysis through HLD compliance and handover to addition lead and implement site and service delivery for AISS — driving on-site implementation and service execution for assigned projects. Solution Engineers prepare the BOQ and proposal; the Architect validates reviews and approves the technical content.
Roles & Responsibilities
Solution Design & HLD Ownership
- Develop complete HLDs for assigned opportunities.
- Own technology selection sizing logic and design trade-offs.
- Lead design workshops with customers for assigned opportunities.
Technical Compliance
- Ensure 100% technical compliance of the design against RFP requirements and standards.
- Review and sign off the compliance matrix prepared by Solution Engineers.
BOQ Validation Review & Approval
- Validate BOQs prepared by Solution Engineers for architectural correctness — right products quantities and licensing model.
- Approve or reject BOQs against the approved design (Architects do NOT prepare BOQs).
OEM Coordination
- Validate designs with OEM technical teams; obtain OEM design sign-offs where required.
Presales & Delivery Support
- Present solutions to customers; respond to technical clarifications.
- Document design intent for handover and support delivery during transition.
Site Delivery Assurance
- Lead and implement site and service delivery for AISS — drive on-site implementation transition and service execution for assigned projects.
- Arbitrate design-vs-delivery technical disputes.
Candidate Requirements
Experience | 9 years in ICT / Network & Security with 2 years independently producing HLDs in a System Integrator or OEM environment. |
Education | Bachelor's in Engineering / Computer Science / IT. |
Mandatory Certifications | CCNP Enterprise or Security (or equivalent Professional) 1 Cloud Associate (Azure / AWS) — per framework Part 5.2. |
Technical Skills | Advanced network & security architecture; working datacenter & cloud architecture; independent HLD development; BOQ validation; OEM coordination. |
Domain Knowledge | Enterprise networking and security solution design; compliance mapping against RFP requirements. |
Behavioural | Independent design ownership; customer-facing confidence; collaborative with Solution Engineers and SMEs. |
Career Path | TL3 → TL4 Senior Solution Architect → TL5 Principal Solution Architect (technical track). |
