Job Summary
Role Summary
The Platform Lead owns end-to-end coordination of IT initiatives and acts as the primary interface between business stakeholders and IT. The role is accountable for translating business demand into a prioritized governed delivery roadmap aligned to strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engagement with business stakeholders to capture clarify and consolidate IT demand.
- Ensure all demand aligns with strategic objectives and transformation priorities.
- Drive the Annual Planning & Review (APR) and Quarterly Planning & Review (QPR) cycles including demand consolidation prioritization workshops roadmap development and capacity planning.
- Own development and ongoing maintenance of the IT demand backlog.
- Coordinate governance forums to support prioritization and decision-making.
- Provide oversight of delivery progress risks dependencies and overall portfolio health reporting to leadership.
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years experience in IT platform or product management within financial services investment management or government.
- Proven experience developing strategic platform roadmaps and translating business requirements into delivery plans.
- Strong demand management prioritization and governance capability.
Preferred / Advantageous
- Hands-on ServiceNow SPM experience.
Certifications
- PMP CSPO or SAFe certification is advantageous.
Success Criteria
- IT4IT demand backlog maintained validated and continuously updated.
- APR/QPR deliverables completed on time with approved prioritization outcomes.
- Regular portfolio oversight and reporting provided to leadership.
