Job Overview
We are urgently seeking a qualified and experienced Lifting Engineer / Lifting Inspection Engineer for a project-based assignment. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of lifting operations lifting equipment inspection crane activities rigging practices and safety compliance.
A valid LEEA certification is mandatory for this role. Candidates with Mechanical Engineering background are highly preferred; however Civil Engineers with relevant lifting inspection experience and mandatory certification may also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct inspection and certification of lifting equipment and accessories.
Ensure all lifting operations comply with project safety standards and regulations.
Monitor crane operations rigging activities and lifting procedures on site.
Prepare lifting plans risk assessments and method statements where required.
Perform periodic inspection of hoists cranes slings shackles hooks and related lifting tools.
Coordinate with site teams safety personnel and project management regarding lifting activities.
Maintain inspection records reports and certification documentation.
Identify unsafe lifting practices and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with LEEA standards and client/project requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
Mandatory valid LEEA Certification.
Proven experience in lifting equipment inspection crane operations rigging and lifting activities.
Strong understanding of lifting safety procedures and international standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
Good reporting and communication skills.
Immediate availability preferred.
Preferred Profile
Mechanical Engineer with lifting inspection experience.
Experience in construction oil & gas industrial or infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with site safety regulations and lifting operation procedures.
