The e-Library Specialist is responsible for planning developing and managing a comprehensive digital library and e-learning ecosystem to support the learning and development needs of healthcare professionals. The role ensures effective delivery accessibility and continuous improvement of e-Library services for both clinical and non-clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities
Plan develop and implement a structured e-Library portfolio aligned with organizational learning objectives.
Research create and organize digital content to support healthcare education and professional development.
Manage and maintain e-Library platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Oversee day-to-day e-Library operations including user registration access management and query resolution.
Coordinate and support the technical infrastructure required for digital learning delivery.
Develop and execute communication strategies to promote e-Library usage and online learning initiatives.
Design and deliver training sessions workshops and tutorials for staff.
Monitor and evaluate e-Library usage analyze data and generate regular performance reports.
Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive data through effective knowledge management practices.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance learning resources and user experience.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design Educational Technology or a related field.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in:
Developing web-based learning content
Managing Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Working with e-Library or digital learning platforms
Skills & Competencies
Strong expertise in e-Library systems and LMS platforms (e.g. Moodle Blackboard).
Proficiency in multimedia tools and digital content development.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Analytical skills to evaluate learning effectiveness and usage data.
High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Language Requirement
Bilingual (Arabic & English) – Preferred
Working Conditions
40 hours per week (shift-based including weekends if required)
