Contracts Specialist Procurement
Job Summary
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Execute procurement operations for goods and services in accordance with the organization’s policies.
- Ensure obtaining the best prices and quality in line with the budget.
- Draft procurement contracts and ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations.
- Review contracts to guarantee clarity of terms and protect the organization’s interests.
- Negotiate prices payment terms and delivery schedules.
- Build long-term relationships with reliable suppliers.
- Adhere to integrity and transparency policies throughout all procurement stages.
- Ensure contracts comply with humanitarian standards and charitable objectives.
- Assess risks associated with suppliers and contracts.
- Develop contingency plans to avoid supply disruptions.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify needs.
- Provide periodic reports on contract and procurement status to senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Law or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract management or procurement preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Good knowledge of local and international contract laws.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in procurement management systems and office software.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
- Previous experience with Supply Chain Management modules preferably in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience in negotiating and concluding Purchase Agreements.
- Understanding of the Three-Way Matching mechanism to ensure accuracy in procurement processes.
