Job Summary
Inspect assess and maintain civil structures by identifying defects performing structural evaluations and recommending or carrying out appropriate repairs.
Read and interpret engineering drawings prepare site layouts specifications cost estimates and support civil engineering projects.
Conduct quality control and field testing of concrete asphalt soil aggregates and structural materials in accordance with ASTM standards.
Perform material quantity calculations bearing capacity tests concrete strength testing and sampling to ensure compliance with project and quality requirements.
Develop preventive maintenance plans document inspection findings and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the safe and reliable operation of civil infrastructure.
Requirements
Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years experience in civil construction maintenance or infrastructure projects within power plants utilities oil & gas industrial or heavy construction sectors.
Strong knowledge of engineering drawings site layouts quantity calculations cost estimation and civil maintenance planning.
Hands-on experience in concrete soil aggregate asphalt testing structural inspections defect assessment and ASTM quality control standards.
Proficient in conducting field testing structural assessments material sampling and preparing engineering reports specifications and maintenance recommendations.
Strong analytical problem-solving communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work safely and effectively in industrial environments.
