Mechanical Rotating Technician

To carry out installation inspection troubleshooting and maintenance of rotating mechanical equipment to ensure reliable and efficient plant operations particularly in district cooling or industrial environments.

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 35 years of relevant experience
• Experience in district cooling plants or industrial facilities is preferred

• Perform routine preventive and breakdown maintenance of rotating equipment
• Maintain and service pumps cooling towers compressors and AHU fans
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to rotating machinery such as bearings shafts and couplings
• Carry out alignment lubrication and condition monitoring activities
• Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities using CMMS systems
• Assist in equipment installation commissioning and testing
• Identify faults recommend corrective actions and minimize downtime
• Follow maintenance schedules and standard operating procedures

• Experience working with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
• Strong understanding of HSSEQ requirements including:
  • Permit to Work (PTW)
  • Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
  • Risk Assessments
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Team player with good communication skills
