Business Support and Financial Control Analyst

The Business Support & Financial Control Analyst will provide critical financial oversight and business support to ensure effective cost management accurate reporting and compliance with internal controls. This role will support operational and finance teams by delivering timely analysis improving financial processes and assisting in decision-making during a high-demand period.

Financial Control & Reporting

• Support month-end closing activities including accruals reconciliations and variance analysis
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in line with company policies and IFRS standards
• Monitor budgets track expenditures and highlight variances with actionable insights
• Assist in preparing financial reports dashboards and management presentations

Business Support

• Partner with operational teams to provide financial guidance and cost optimization strategies
• Analyze financial performance trends and provide recommendations to improve efficiency
• Support forecasting and budgeting processes for assigned departments
• Assist stakeholders in understanding financial implications of business decisions

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure adherence to internal controls policies and audit requirements
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen financial controls

Data Analysis & Process Improvement

• Utilize financial systems and tools to extract and analyze data
• Improve reporting processes through automation and standardization where possible
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within finance and business support functions

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field
• 45 years of experience in financial analysis accounting or business support roles
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting budgeting and variance analysis
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive adaptable and able to work independently

• Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension based on business needs)
• Immediate or short-notice availability preferred

• Must be under family sponsorship or freelance visa able to provide secondment paper.
