Position Overview

In this role youll design and develop robust enterprise applications using

technologies whilst leading technical decisions on system architecture and microservices

implementation. Youll work across the full development lifecycle - from API design

through to cloud deployment on Azure - whilst mentoring junior team members and

contributing to the organisations technical strategy. Your work will directly impact the

scalability performance and quality of the systems the company delivers to its clients.

Responsibilities

Design and develop applications Core and

versions (6 7 8)

Build and maintain APIs and microservices architectures that scale reliably Lead technical design decisions and guide architectural approaches for new

projects

Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and deploy applications using

Docker and Kubernetes

Write unit and integration tests using XUnit and NUnit applying test-driven

development practices

Mentor junior developers providing guidance and fostering their technical growth

Collaborate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to team problem-solving

Work with SQL Server and NoSQL databases including MongoDB and Kafka

Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical

stakeholders

Requirements

Essential Technical Skills:

8-10 years of professional software development experience

Proficiency in C# Core and versions (6 7

8)

Hands-on experience with MVC and Web API development

Strong expertise in API development and microservices architecture

Proven experience with Microsoft Azure Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline

implementation

Solid knowledge of SQL Server and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Kafka

Experience with containerisation tools including Docker Kubernetes and OpenShift

Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (XUnit NUnit) and test-driven development

Deep understanding of software design patterns and clean architecture principles

Essential Soft Skills:

Ability to lead technical design and make sound architectural decisions

Mentoring and coaching experience with junior developers

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Clear communication skills for explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences

Active participation in Agile and Scrum environments
