Job Summary

For over 25 years AsstrA has been providing a full range of transport and logistics services including road sea rail air and intermodal transportation project logistics customs services and cargo insurance.

Due to the continued growth of our business we are looking for a Junior Project Logistics Specialist (HL/OOG) to join our office in Gdańsk.

Main responsibilities:

Supporting the coordination and execution of oversized (OOG) and heavy-lift (HL) shipments by sea

Preparing transport solutions and operational documentation for project cargo movements in maritime transport

Coordinating communication with ocean carriers subcontractors ports terminals and other logistics service providers

Monitoring shipment progress and ensuring timely updates in internal systems

Obtaining freight quotations and supporting the preparation of transport offers and commercial proposals

Maintaining supplier databases pricing records and shipment documentation

Preparing and verifying transport documentation related to project cargo shipments

Supporting transport capacity planning and day-to-day cooperation with suppliers and subcontractors

Maintaining accurate shipment records and supporting internal reporting activities

Providing operational support to clients ensuring high service quality and customer satisfaction

Our expectations:

Preferred candidate profile: Sea Freight Forwarder (Junior/Mid-level) open to development in Project Logistics. Experience in Project Cargo is not mandatory however any exposure to maritime project logistics will be considered an advantage

Experience in pricing procurement coordination or operational support of ocean project cargo (OOG/HL) shipments within a Project Cargo department will be considered a strong advantage

Understanding of international transport and logistics processes

Good communication and organizational skills

Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Attention to detail and willingness to learn

Fluent Polish and a good command of English (both written and spoken)

Proficiency in MS Office applications
