Digital Marketing Intern

**Responsibilities:**

Develop and execute effective email marketing campaigns to nurture leads retain customers and drive conversions.

Manage the end-to-end process of email campaigns including planning design testing scheduling deployment and performance analysis.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling email content that aligns with marketing goals and brand guidelines.

Segment and maintain customer databases for targeted email campaigns ensuring data accuracy integrity and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. GDPR CAN-SPAM).

Utilize marketing automation tools to set up and manage email workflows drip campaigns and triggered communications.

Continuously monitor and optimize email performance metrics such as open rates click-through rates conversion rates and unsubscribe rates.

Conduct A/B tests and implement data-driven insights to improve email campaign effectiveness and engagement.

Stay updated on industry best practices emerging trends and new technologies related to email marketing and database management.

Collaborate with the marketing analytics team to analyze campaign data generate reports and provide actionable recommendations for improving email marketing strategies.

Monitor email deliverability manage bounce rates and implement strategies to maintain a high sender reputation.

Maintain compliance with email marketing regulations including obtaining necessary permissions managing opt-outs and following email privacy laws.

**Qualifications:**

Bachelors degree in marketing communications or a related field.

Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist Email Marketing Specialist or similar role with a focus on email campaign management and database administration.

Strong understanding of email marketing best practices including segmentation personalization responsive design and deliverability.

Proficiency in using email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp HubSpot Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and marketing automation tools.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data generate insights and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns.

Familiarity with CRM systems and database management including list segmentation data cleansing and GDPR compliance.

Solid knowledge of HTML CSS and email coding best practices to ensure responsive and optimized email templates.

Understanding of SEO principles and how they relate to email marketing strategies.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging and persuasive email content.

Detail-oriented organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously within deadlines.

Knowledge of email privacy regulations such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM Act and commitment to compliance.
