Position Overview
In this role you willbe responsible formanaging production systems automating operationaltasksand supporting continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) closely with development and quality assurance teams to ensure systemsremainsecureperformantand available. Your focus will be on proactivelyidentifyingand resolving infrastructure issuesmaintainingrobust backup and disaster recovery procedures and documenting operational processes to support team knowledge sharing and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Manage andmonitorproduction systems ensuring high availabilityperformanceand reliability
Automate operational tasks using scripting languages and configuration management tools
Collaborate with development and QA teams to support CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment processes
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues quickly and effectively
Maintain and improve system security backupproceduresand disaster recovery capabilities
Monitor system metrics and logs toidentifyand address potential issues proactively
Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response and resolution activities
Document operational procedures and contribute to team knowledge sharing initiatives
Requirements
Essential experience and skills:
6-10 years of experience in IT operations systemadministrationor DevOps roles
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows server environments
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWSAzureor GCP
Proficiencyin scripting languages including BashPowerShellor Python
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform Ansible or Puppet
Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus Grafana or Nagios
Solid understanding of networkingfirewallsand security best practices
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred qualifications:
Experience withcontainerisationand orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI or Azure DevOps
Exposure to ITIL practices and service management tools such as ServiceNow
Relevant certifications such as AWS CertifiedSysOpsAdministrator RHCE or Azure Administrator
