BI Reporting Specialist (mfd)
Job Summary
Join our BI& Reporting Solutions EMEA Team as BI Reporting Specialist!
As BI Reporting Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of reporting improving existing processes supporting the migration to the PPG central Datalake and providing daily maintenance of reporting processes. This role reports to AC EMEA Reporting Solutions CoE Manager.
Location: Curie-Skłodowskiej 12 Wrocław
Responsibilities:
1) Standard Reporting:
- Take over local reporting responsibilities.
- Create simple reports in Power BI.
- Run and refresh reports regularly.
- Maintain reporting processes and ensure data correctness.
- Share reports with users on time and at expected frequencies.
- Keep detailed process notes and track usage statistics.
2) Reports Development:
- Support the Power BI Data Analyst in developing new reports.
- Identify opportunities for automation to reduce manual work.
- Validate and test new reports.
- Utilize knowledge of the PowerBI data model.
3) Report Usage:
- Assist report users in understanding calculation methods and report logic.
- Address feedback from stakeholders and discuss improvements.
- Provide data for ad hoc requests.
Education & Required Skills:
- University degree in marketing business finance or related field
- Knowledge of sales marketing and business processes
- 2-3 years of proven working experience in reporting and analysis
- Ability to develop relationship with remote locations and work with different levels of management
- Fluent English speaker
- Strong Excel skills including power query/power pivot
- Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting software (Power BI)
- Organizational skills adaptability and outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good communication
- Professional approach to work strong sense of responsibility
