As part of our ongoing global expansion we are seeking an IT Assurance and Compliance Specialist to join our team. This is a newly created position with a global scope offering the opportunity to shape and influence our compliance framework worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of internal and external IT audits regulatory requests and other compliance questionnaires assist with evidence gathering coordinate with technical teams and other stakeholders (e.g. Legal Compliance Finance) on assigned items and help compile complete audit packages;
- Contribute to gap assessments against regulatory requirements document findings and help draft remediation plans with owners and deadlines under guidance from senior team members;
- Support reviews of IT policies standards and procedures providing input to help ensure alignment with regulatory requirements;
- Support control documentation and monitoring within the GRC platform (e.g. Vanta);
- Support ongoing certification maintenance (e.g. PCI DSS ISO 27001) by helping coordinate required actions and evidence.
Requirements:
- 2 years in IT compliance IT audit or IT governance;
- Hands-on experience with gap assessments and supporting remediation plans;
- Knowledge of at least one of: DORA PCI DSS SOC 2 NIST or similar frameworks;
- Comfortable handling day-to-day compliance tasks independently while knowing when to involve a senior colleague on complex or ambiguous issues;
- Good communication skills able to explain regulatory requirements in practical terms to technical teams;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Experience in FinTech banking or another regulated industry is a strong plus;
- Experience working with a GRC platform (e.g. Vanta) is a strong plus.
