Refuel Creative eCommerce Campaign Manager
Job Summary
This is a remote position.
This is a strategy relationship analysis role not a hands on keyboard execution role. You need real Meta Ads expertise so you can make the right calls brief properly and judge the work but the implementation hours are absorbed by the specialist team.
You own a portfolio of 6 to 10 eCommerce clients running on our performance based model.
- Youre the named owner of the client relationship. They email you they call you you run the meetings.
- You set Meta advertising strategy analyse performance brief creative and make optimisation decisions
- You dont run the day to day execution yourself. Our paid social specialist creative lead Google Ads team and email specialists implement under your direction.
- You orchestrate the supporting team so each client gets a coordinated multi channel approach
- You report to the client you brief the team youre accountable for the outcome
What youll do
Client ownership
- Run weekly check ins monthly reviews quarterly strategy sessions for 6 to 10 eCom accounts
- Translate client priorities into clear briefs for the specialist team
- Present performance reports recommendations and next steps in client ready language
- Quality assure outgoing reports creative and campaign launches
- Identify upsell and retention opportunities (broader scope additional channels deeper integrations)
- Partner with our Finance lead on invoicing accuracy
Meta Ads strategy analysis
- Set the Meta strategy for each client based on their funnel stage and commercial model
- Analyse campaign performance daily across Meta Ads Manager Shopify Analytics GA4 Triple Whale Motion
- Decide what to test what to scale what to kill and brief the implementation team accordingly
- Manage advertising budgets at the strategy level. Set targets review variances explain the numbers.
- Sign off on creative briefs and final ad sets before launch
Specialist orchestration
- Brief the paid social specialist on campaign structure audiences and optimisation priorities
- Brief the creative lead on creative direction formats and refresh cadence
- Coordinate with Google Ads and email specialists so the clients channels speak to each other
- Escalate risks early. If a specialist is overloaded or a project is slipping you flag it before the client does.
Requirements
You must have
- 5 years managing Meta Ads for eCommerce brands at an agency with proven ROAS or CPA outcomes (real numbers in your application)
- 3 years in a client facing role. Youve run client meetings presented results and had the hard conversations that come with performance based engagements.
- Expert in Meta Ads Manager Meta Business Suite Instagram Advantage
- Strong analyst across Shopify Analytics GA4 Triple Whale Motion. You can spot the signal in noisy data.
- Working knowledge of Klaviyo Google Ads and how a website affects conversion (enough to brief and judge specialist work)
- Comfortable with Teamwork Asana ClickUp or equivalent
- Excellent professional written English. Youll be writing client facing comms.
- Self disciplined: honest time logging proactive comms anticipates risks
- Embraces AI and modern tooling as part of the workflow
- Competitive and accountable. This is a performance based seat. Your KPIs are client ROAS retention NPS and upsell. If youre allergic to being measured or you want a job where you can hide behind activity metrics this isnt your role. The people who thrive here get a buzz from the scoreboard.

Whats different about this role
You dont need to spend your day inside Ads Manager building campaigns. The specialist team does that. Your job is to make the right strategic calls run the client relationship well and orchestrate the work which means you can carry a larger client load (6 to 10 accounts) than a hands on keyboard specialist could.
If youve been wanting to step up from execution into strategy but stay close to the data and the client (rather than disappearing into pure account management) this is the role.

Required Education:
Education: Degree in Marketing Statistics or Economics (or 5 years of equivalent high-scale agency experience).Certifications: Meta Certified Media Buying or Marketing Science : Certified in GA4; expert-level proficiency in Triple Whale or : Verified fluency in Shopify Klaviyo and AI-driven creative analysis (e.g. Motion).Communication: Proven mastery of professional business writing and client management.
