We are looking for a proactive tech-savvy Marketing Associate to take ownership of our digital presence and modernize our marketing engine.
Recently our marketing department hit a standstill and we are looking for a builder to jump in revitalize our website and introduce modern efficiencies. This is not just a maintenance role; we are looking for a strategic thinker who can look at our 40-year legacy and help us bridge the gap to the next generation of researchers using AI tools and contemporary digital strategies.
Core Responsibilities
1. Web Management & Optimization (Primary Focus)
Immediate Action: Take full ownership of our WordPress website performing urgent edits page updates and maintenance.
Optimization: Navigate and audit our existing plugin ecosystem to improve site performance and user experience.
Content Presentation: While we have the technical knowledge you will be responsible for the presentationensuring our product pages and research spotlights are professional accessible and modern.
2. Strategic Modernization & AI Integration
Tool Advocacy: Identify and implement AI-driven tools (e.g. GPT automation software) to streamline marketing workflows and enhance tactical execution.
Growth Strategy: Provide creative input on how a legacy manufacturer can better engage with a modern global audience.
Digital Presence: Manage and optimize our basic digital channels including LinkedIn and Google AdWords to ensure consistent brand visibility.
3. Systems & CRM Management
Maintain and utilize HubSpot for CRM management and newsletter distribution.
Analyze basic marketing metrics to provide recommendations on where to pivot or invest.
Qualifications
Experience: 35 years of professional marketing experience ideally within a B2B scientific or manufacturing environment.
WordPress Expert: Highly proficient in WordPress. You should be comfortable jumping into a dated site troubleshooting plugins and building out new pages without hand-holding.
Tech-Forward: You are an early adopter of AI tools and know how to use them to multiply your output and improve strategy.
Analytical & Strategic: You dont just execute tasks; you ask why and how can we do this better
Communication: Excellent written and visual communication skills with an eye for professional layout and design.
Toolbox: Familiarity with HubSpot (or similar CRM) Google Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
