Role Summary

We are seeking a highly capable self-managed Full Stack Mobile App Developer to lead the end-to-end development and ongoing enhancement of a consumer-facing mobile application for both iOS and Android.

This role is ideal for a developer who thrives on high autonomy can move exceptionally fast and has the engineering maturity to translate high-level product ideas into scalable production-ready technical architecture. You will be the primary builder responsible for taking features from initial concept through prototyping to live deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Engineering & UI/UX Iteration

• Cross-Platform Development: Architect build and maintain production-ready code for both iOS and Android platforms utilizing React Native.

• Backend Systems: Build scalable modular and maintainable backend APIs and infrastructure using and Firebase services.

• UI/UX Implementation: Translate design primitives and wireframes from Figma into high-fidelity smooth and native mobile user experiences.

• Growth Stack Integration: Integrate and manage analytics pipelines (PostHog) paywall testing infrastructure (Superwall) user onboarding flows and continuous subscription optimization.

Technical Documentation & Project Management

• Maintain crystal-clear updated technical documentation within the repository explicitly capturing:

  • Global project overview and modular architecture maps.

  • Detailed local setup configuration keys and environment variables.

  • Database technical schemas and key workflow implementation details.

• Break down broad product definitions into structured coding tasks and organize them clearly inside project management platforms like Asana.

• Maintain clean version control best practices across our GitHub codebase.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Core Mobile Stack: 35 years of professional full-stack engineering experience with deep hands-on mastery of React Native and Firebase backend integrations.

• Monetization & Analytics: Proven familiarity with implementing mobile app subscriptions paywall A/B testing (Superwall preferred) and behavioral product analytics (PostHog preferred).

• Architectural Cleanliness: Strong understanding of scalable app architecture modular codebase patterns and robust environment configuration management.

• Design Literacy: Practical experience navigating Figma files to extract layout values assets and user workflows.

• Autonomous Execution: Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to independently manage engineering priorities document technical architecture and execute without constant hand-holding.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience launching and scaling consumer-facing mobile applications on the App Store and Google Play Store.

• Vibe Coding Fluency: High familiarity with leveraging modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Cursor GitHub Copilot Claude) to radically accelerate engineering loops and output speed.

• Experience operating successfully inside lean fast-moving high-growth startup environments.
