The JAVA Software Developer will design develop deploy and maintain
applications that support our travel services and business operations.

What Youll Do

• Programming & Support: Perform complex programming tasks for legacy system modernization into a Java environment. Modify existing systems for cybersecurity compliance.

• System Migration: Migrate legacy applications to updated platforms ensuring alignment with industry guidelines and improving system uptime.

• Fixing & Optimization: Diagnose isolate and resolve software issues monitor system capacity and ensure applications connectivity to vendor APIs.

• Documentation & Standards: Create software documentation and architecture diagrams. Adhere to development standards and security requirements.

• Provide technical support for applications using Java C# jQueryAJAX React and SQL Server.

• Use Visual Studio 2019/2022 for development ensuring compatibility with major web browsers (IE Chrome Firefox etc.).

• Add functionality to streamline backend processes and improve system efficiency.

• Complete disaster recovery procedures and provide Tier 2 technical support.

• Collaborate to define system specifications design architecture perform testing and document all source code.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of GIT source control.
Knowledge of letter carrier SOAP UI or other API testing tools.
Experience in the Travel Industry preferably development with Online/Offline Booking Systems (Concur Amadeus Travelport)

Educational Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science Systems Engineering or a related field.
