Job Summary

position : Bookkeeper

RemoteVA are looking for a smart detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have experience managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks data entry accounts payable and accounts receivable while maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform bookkeeping and financial data entry tasks.
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Record categorize and reconcile financial transactions.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
  • Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Prepare basic financial reports and support month-end closing activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven bookkeeping experience.
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Familiarity with other bookkeeping and accounting software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook) and Google Workspace (Sheets Docs Drive) and Gmail.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity confidentiality and professionalism.

Preferred:

  • Experience with payroll processing and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of additional accounting platforms such as Xero Zoho Books or similar software.

Compensation: Open to Both Quality Over Price

Full time : 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
