A2R DS Analyst

The Sr. Analyst A2R plays a critical role in deliveringaccuratetimely and compliant accounting and reporting outcomes across the AccountingtoReporting (A2R) cycle. This position supports global accounting operations by executing core accounting activities strengthening controls and enabling highquality management and statutory reporting. The role offers strong exposure to global stakeholders opportunities to drive continuous improvement and a chance to help shape scalable accounting processes within a growing global services organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform endtoend AccountingtoReporting (A2R) activities including general ledger accounting periodend close reconciliations and journal entries.

• Prepare and review balance sheet and profit &lossaccount reconciliations ensuring accuracy completeness and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

• Support monthly quarterly and annual close activities includingconsolidationinputs and management reporting schedules.

• Assistin the preparation of statutory and compliance reporting ensuring adherence to applicable accounting standards (e.g. GAAP) and governance requirements.

• Participate in internal and external audits by preparing documentation responding to audit inquiries and supporting issue resolution.

• Perform trend and variance analysis toidentifyrisks anomalies and opportunities for process improvement within the A2R cycle.

• Contribute to the implementation of standardized costeffective and scalable accounting processes within GS Services.

• Collaborate with global finance partners and crossfunctional stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and support reportingobjectives.

Qualifications

Education

• Required:Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance ora relateddiscipline.

• Preferred:Masters degree MBA or professional accounting qualification coursework.(Preferred; not)

Experience and Skills

Required:

• Generallyrequires02 years of relevant accounting or finance experience aligned to the Analyst (P4 E24) level.

• Foundational knowledge of general ledger accounting financial close processes and account reconciliations.

• Understanding ofaccounting standards (e.g. GAAP) and internal control concepts.

• Ability to analyze financial dataidentifytrends and support issue resolution.

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.

Preferred:

• Experience in a shared services or global services environment.

• Exposure to AccountingtoReporting (A2R) processes in a multinational organization.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

• Prior involvement in audits or compliance reporting activities.

• Continuous improvement mindset with interest in process standardization and automation.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with global stakeholders.

Other

• Language:Proficiencyin English (written and spoken).

• Travel:Minimal; primarily local with occasional virtual global collaboration.

• Certifications:CPA CMA or equivalent accounting certifications arepreferredbut not.
