This role will be part of the Global Services Finance team in the GS Finance Accounting process area. The Global Services Finance organization provides best-in-class cost-effective financial services and compliancein a J&J wayto our Operating Companies around the world.

The GSF accounting teamis responsible forthe completeandaccurateaccounting for all transactions. This includes but is not limited to creating the Sales and corresponding Purchase orders reconciling out of balancesmonitoringageing and performing balance sheet reconciliations.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate ourOrthopaedicsbusiness to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation isanticipatedto be completed within24 months and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies as required and other customary conditions and approvals. It isanticipatedthat followingconclusionof the transaction this positionmay be conveyedwithNewOrthopaedics that case details of any planned changes would be provided to the successful candidate by NewOrthopaedicsatan appropriate timeand would be subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Be compliant with applicable laws and regulations and follow guidelines in the J&J Credo

Maintain Operational Excellence

• Responsible forleading ofaccounting and daily operations for GSF Accounting process areas.

• Timely closing& executionof financial periods as per closing calendar andin accordance withSLA commitments fullyobservingCompliance Internal Audit & SOX requirements.

• Accountable for completenessaccuracyand validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope.

• Deepexpertise fully knowledgeable of the Worldwide Procedures and compliance requirements for respective areas.

• Regular focus on Balance Sheet reconciliations to minimize open items.

• On the job training for new team members / BPO partners.

• Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities.

• Understand adhere andexecute perworldwide policies and procedures.Identifycompliance risks and recommend solutions.

• Ensure strong internal controls are in placein order toachieve adequate internal and external audit ratings.

4. Be a Trusted Business Partner

• Execute global Strategy & Solutions in line with taxonomy.

• Support Process Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Operational Key Contacts (OKCs) to ensure cross sector cross region and cross process alignment ensuring good documentation ismaintainedandconsistencyofa global approach.

• Execute process improvements generating ideas and implementing in line with global standards.

Qualifications
Education:

MinimumBachelorslevel degree in Accounting Finance or related business discipline

REQUIRED:

• Minimum3 yearsof professional experience.

• Minimum2 yearsin a Shared Service or BPO organization.

• Experience inparticipatingin Continuous Improvement initiatives

• Experience in Account to ReportorGeneral Accountingprocess

• Successfully manage multiple priorities bevery organizedand work efficiently to tight deadlines.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.

• Ability to frame clear& concisecommunication across all relevant stakeholders.

• Open tonew ideas rapidchangeand embracingnew technologies.

• Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situationsdemonstratinga pragmatic approach.

PREFERRED:

• Education: CPA CMAMBAand/or other financial certification

• Supervisory experience

• Experience in migration of work.

• Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge.

• Digital/ intelligent automation capabilities.

Others

• Open to work in flexible shifts to align with global or regional responsibilities (Americas / EMEA / Asia)

• Will lead orparticipatein Regional/ Global/ Cross functional duties as assigned.

• Fluent in English other language skills desirable.
