Job Overview

Robert Quinn Ltd one of Irelands leading construction companies is seeking a talented and innovative UX/UI Designer to join our team. With a distinguished history of nearly 50 years we specialise in high-quality commercial retail healthcare and educational construction projects. We are looking for a creative individual to help drive our digital presence and improve the user experience across our internal and client-facing platforms including our cutting-edge Building Information Modeling (BIM) systems. This is a Full-Time position offering an opportunity to make a significant impact within a well-established and respected organisation.

Responsibilities

As a UX/UI Designer you will be responsible for creating intuitive efficient and visually appealing digital experiences. Your key duties will include:

Collaborating with project managers developers and key stakeholders to understand user requirements and translate them into compelling design solutions.
Designing and delivering wireframes user stories user journeys and mock-ups for a wide range of digital products.
Developing high-fidelity prototypes and UI specifications that clearly illustrate how our applications function and look.
Conducting user research and evaluating user feedback to identify and troubleshoot UX problems.
Establishing and promoting design guidelines best practices and standards to ensure consistency across all platforms.
Contributing to the design of interfaces for our website project management software and specialised construction technology tools.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio of design work and a passion for user-centred design. Key qualifications include:

Proven work experience as a UX/UI Designer or in a similar role.
A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both user experience and user interface design.
Proficiency in design and wireframing tools such as Figma Sketch Adobe XD or similar.
A solid understanding of user-centred design principles and testing methodologies.
Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail typography and colour.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to articulate design concepts to team members and stakeholders.
Experience designing for complex systems or B2B applications is highly desirable.
An interest or background in the construction engineering or architecture industry would be a significant advantage.
