Responsibilities
Develop customize and maintain Shopify stores and themes.
Build responsive user-friendly and high-performance eCommerce websites.
Customize Shopify themes using Liquid HTML CSS and JavaScript.
Integrate third-party applications APIs payment gateways and shipping solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Shopify stores and integrations.
Optimize website performance speed and overall user experience.
Implement SEO best practices and ensure mobile responsiveness.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to convert designs into functional Shopify storefronts.
Conduct testing debugging and quality assurance before deployments.
Maintain documentation for custom developments and integrations.
Stay up-to-date with Shopify platform updates new features and industry trends.
Technical Skills
Strong experience with Shopify platform and theme development.
Proficiency in Shopify Liquid templating language.
Strong knowledge of HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript and jQuery.
Experience with Shopify APIs webhooks and custom app integrations.
Familiarity with payment gateway and third-party service integrations.
Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience with Git and version control systems.

Qualifications

Required Skills:
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field. Masters degree is a plus. Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance including 3 years in a leadership or management role. Technical Skills: Strong expertise in manual and automation testing Selenium Playwright or Cypress QA methodologies SDLC STLC Agile/Scrum CI/CD tools and test management platforms. Soft Skills: Excellent leadership strategic thinking problem-solving communication stakeholder management decision-making and team development skills Preference: Experience in Financial industry especially POS (Point of Sale) sector.
