Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in ServiceNow platform development and a focus on AI capabilities. The role will involve designing developing configuring integrating and supporting ServiceNow solutions with exposure to Now Assist and AI-driven workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop configure and maintain ServiceNow applications and custom solutions based on business requirements.
Work on ServiceNow AI capabilities including Now Assist AI Search Virtual Agent and AI-enabled workflows where applicable.
Develop and enhance business rules client scripts script includes UI policies UI actions flows and integration components.
Build and maintain Flow Designer and IntegrationHub solutions and support integrations with external systems.
Translate functional requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
Perform unit testing system testing defect resolution and production support.
Follow ServiceNow development best practices coding standards update-set/application management practices and platform governance.
Collaborate with business analysts architects project managers and other technical teams across the UK project.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolution.
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge transfer.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and configuration.
Good knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
Experience with Flow Designer IntegrationHub REST/SOAP integrations and APIs.
Exposure to ServiceNow AI capabilities such as Now Assist AI Search Virtual Agent or related AI functionality.
Good understanding of ServiceNow security roles ACLs and platform architecture.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Strong analytical troubleshooting communication and collaboration skills.
Education
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
