Job Summary
The Senior IT Manager will lead day-to-day IT operations infrastructure and cybersecurity for the organization working hands-on to design implement and troubleshoot systems rather than delegating execution. The role combines technical ownership with team leadership the incumbent is expected to be personally involved in diagnosing issues configuring systems and closing out problems not just directing others to do so.
Personally manage and maintain servers networks cloud infrastructure and databases; get hands-on with configuration troubleshooting and fixes rather than only assigning tickets.
Ensure uptime performance and reliability of IT systems; act as the first responder for critical incidents.
Administer ERP HRMS CRM and core business applications including direct configuration and issue resolution.
Own backup disaster recovery and business continuity procedures test them personally not just document them.
Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls endpoint protection and data security measures.
Conduct hands-on vulnerability scans and patch management lead incident response directly during security events.
Maintain compliance with applicable data protection and information security requirements.
Directly resolve escalated helpdesk issues and remain visibly present and available to end users rather than working purely at a supervisory distance.
Define and monitor SLAs; continuously improve support processes based on firsthand observation of recurring issues.
Manage vendor relationships and hold vendors accountable for delivery.
Lead technology implementation and upgrade projects staying involved in technical execution (configuration testing cutover) alongside planning and coordination.
Identify and personally drive automation and process-integration opportunities across departments.
Manage project timelines budgets and risk with regular hands-on checkpoints not just status reports.
Build mentor and lead a small-to-mid-sized IT team; work alongside them on technical problems rather than solely delegating.
Set an example of ownership step into technical issues personally when needed especially under pressure or tight deadlines.
Support technical skill development and performance management within the team.
Assist in preparing and monitoring the IT budget.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related discipline.
Relevant certifications (ITIL CompTIA Microsoft AWS Cisco or equivalent) preferred.
610 years of progressive IT experience with demonstrated hands-on technical work (not purely managerial oversight).
Practical experience with network/server administration ERP/business systems and cybersecurity fundamentals.
Proven track record of being personally involved in problem resolution comfortable working alongside the team on the ground not just from a desk.
Proactive and self-driven; identifies and fixes problems before being asked.
Hands-on technical orientation genuinely willing to get into the details personally.
Strong troubleshooting instincts and comfort working directly with systems not just teams.
Clear communicator who can translate technical issues for non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills:
Educational Qualification Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related discipline. Relevant certifications (ITIL CompTIA Microsoft AWS Cisco or equivalent) preferred.
