Codup is a software product and technology company delivering solutions across e-commerce SaaS and enterprise verticals. We are ISO 27001- and ISO 27701-certified and work with clients ranging from Shopify merchants to enterprise platforms.
We are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Network & Asset Management Engineer to take ownership of Codups internal network infrastructure hardware assets endpoints and day-to-day IT operations.
The primary requirement of this role is strong hands-on experience in networking and firewall management. The successful candidate will also manage the complete hardware lifecycle and ensure that employee devices are properly configured secured tracked maintained and recovered.
Experience with cloud infrastructure Linux servers DevOps monitoring CI/CD and automation will be considered an advantage but is not the primary focus of this position.
This is a senior individual contributor role with the potential to lead an IT infrastructure and operations team as Codup grows.
Core Responsibilities
1. Network & Firewall Management
You will own Codups internal network infrastructure including its configuration security monitoring availability and performance.
Configure manage and monitor pfSense firewall rules VLANs NAT VPNs and network access policies.
Administer and troubleshoot WAN and LAN infrastructure including routing switching cabling and internet connectivity.
Manage UniFi access points controllers wireless networks guest networks and authentication settings.
Monitor network availability bandwidth utilization device health and connectivity performance.
Proactively identify and resolve network issues before they affect employees or business operations.
Maintain secure network segmentation for employees guests servers and managed devices.
Manage routers switches firewalls access points internet connections and backup connectivity.
Conduct regular reviews of firewall rules VPN access wireless security and connected devices.
Coordinate with internet service providers and external vendors to resolve infrastructure issues.
Maintain network diagrams IP address records configuration backups access records and troubleshooting documentation.
Implement monitoring and alerting for network outages unusual activity and performance degradation.
Maintain a target of at least 95% network availability.
2. Hardware Asset Management
You will manage the complete lifecycle of the organizations IT hardware and maintain accurate visibility of all technology assets.
Manage hardware procurement receiving configuration assignment transfer repair recovery and retirement.
Maintain an accurate asset register for laptops desktops monitors networking equipment accessories and other IT hardware.
Record serial numbers specifications warranties physical condition location ownership and assignment history.
Ensure all assets are properly tagged and documented before being issued.
Conduct quarterly physical and system-based asset reconciliations with no unresolved discrepancies.
Track hardware warranties repairs upgrades replacement dates and end-of-life status.
Identify outdated or underperforming hardware and recommend replacements before productivity is affected.
Coordinate hardware repairs replacements upgrades warranty claims and vendor support.
Maintain secure inventory controls for spare returned damaged and unassigned equipment.
Ensure returned devices are inspected securely wiped reconfigured and documented before reassignment or disposal.
Maintain standard operating procedures for asset issuance return repair replacement and retirement.
Support annual hardware budgeting and procurement planning.
3. Endpoint Management & IT Support
You will ensure that employees receive properly configured secure and reliable devices throughout their employment lifecycle.
Configure laptops desktops operating systems business applications security tools and user accounts for new employees.
Manage IT onboarding and offboarding in coordination with HR and department managers.
Install and maintain operating system updates security patches antivirus tools and endpoint protection.
Troubleshoot hardware software operating system connectivity printing and peripheral issues.
Maintain standard device configurations and approved software baselines for different employee roles.
Ensure company data is securely backed up or transferred before device replacement reinstallation or employee exit.
Recover company devices and accessories promptly during employee offboarding.
Maintain documented handover recovery repair and support records.
Manage Google Workspace user provisioning account suspension group membership and basic access permissions.
Maintain service records for employee IT requests incidents repairs and resolutions.
Develop user guides checklists and standard operating procedures for common IT activities.
Identify recurring IT issues and implement long-term corrective solutions.
Requirements
Must Have
At least 7 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure networking system administration or IT operations.
Strong hands-on experience with pfSense firewall configuration including firewall rules VLANs NAT and VPNs.
Strong knowledge of WAN and LAN environments routing switching wireless networks and internet connectivity.
Experience managing UniFi access points controllers and wireless environments.
Strong network troubleshooting and incident-resolution skills.
Experience managing routers switches firewalls access points and other network equipment.
Hands-on experience managing the complete hardware asset lifecycle.
Experience in maintaining accurate asset registers and conducting physical asset audits.
Strong endpoint administration and troubleshooting experience.
Experience handling employee IT onboarding and offboarding.
Working experience with Google Workspace administration and user provisioning.
Knowledge of identity and access management role-based access and secure offboarding.
Experience managing hardware vendors warranties repairs procurement and IT budgets.
Strong documentation skills including network diagrams asset records policies checklists and operational procedures.
Strong ownership communication prioritization and problem-solving skills.

Linux server administration and basic cloud infrastructure management.
AWS services such as EC2 S3 Route 53 IAM and CloudWatch.
Hosting platforms such as cPanel/WHM WP Engine Liquid Web or similar environments.
