Job Summary
Digifloat is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer (Azure) to lead the design implementation and management of secure scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Azure CI/CD pipelines Infrastructure as Code (IaC) containerization and cloud security best practices.
In this role you will work closely with development data and infrastructure teams to streamline deployments improve platform reliability and drive cloud transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design deploy and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and delivery.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform ARM Templates or Bicep.
- Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance reliability and security across cloud environments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning configuration management and operational processes.
- Ensure high availability disaster recovery backup strategies and business continuity.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to optimize deployment and release processes.
- Implement security best practices compliance controls and governance policies.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure networking and deployment-related issues.
- Lead cloud optimization initiatives focused on performance scalability and cost management.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps best practices across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in DevOps Cloud Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and architecture.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps GitHub Actions Jenkins or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of Docker Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Bicep ARM Templates).
- Strong understanding of networking load balancing security groups VPNs and cloud security.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor Application Insights Grafana or Prometheus.
- Proficiency with Linux and scripting languages such as Bash PowerShell or Python.
- Experience with Git and version control best practices.
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Azure certifications such as:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Experience managing production environments at scale.
- Knowledge of security compliance and governance frameworks.
- Experience supporting microservices-based architectures.
- Exposure to FinTech SaaS or high-availability digital platforms.
