Sales Representative [IS]
Job Summary
- Identify target and onboard new customers within the Automotive Technology and Chemical verticals.
- Develop and grow end-to-end logistics opportunities across Ocean Landside Lead Logistics Warehousing Customs Services and Value-Added Logistics.
- Understand customers supply chain strategies manufacturing cycles sourcing patterns and logistics challenges to develop tailored solutions.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including Supply Chain Procurement Logistics Manufacturing Planning and Commercial teams.
- Lead RFQs tenders commercial negotiations solution design and contract discussions.
- Collaborate closely with Product Operations Customer Experience Lead Logistics and Area Sales teams to ensure solution feasibility and successful implementation.
- Build manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline in Salesforce ensuring timely opportunity progression and forecast accuracy.
- Deliver agreed volume revenue GP and growth targets across assigned industry verticals.
- Drive cross-selling and upselling by converting customer requirements into integrated Maersk solutions including Ocean Inland Transportation Customs Services Warehousing & Distribution Lead Logistics and Digital Solutions.
- Monitor market trends competitor activities freight indices and industry developments to identify growth opportunities and proactively respond to market changes.
- Develop strategic account plans for key customers and support customer retention through regular business reviews and value creation initiatives.
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience in B2B sales within logistics shipping freight forwarding or supply chain management.
- Good understanding of Automotive Technology or Chemical industry supply chains and logistics requirements.
- Knowledge of import/export processes international trade and multimodal transportation.
- Experience working with OEMs manufacturers distributors or large industrial customers is an advantage.
- Proven ability of acquiring new customers and growing existing accounts.
- Strong consultative selling negotiation and solution-selling capabilities.
- Experience managing strategic accounts and complex commercial opportunities.
- Ability to identify customer pain points and translate them into integrated logistics solutions.
- Strong commercial acumen with focus on revenue growth profitability and customer retention.
