Revit Residential Drafter – U.S. Wood Frame

This is a remote position.

Across Clocks is hiring a Mid-to-Senior Revit Residential Drafter to support a U.S.-based architecture team specializing in residential wood-frame projects in Southern California.

This is a hands-on production role focused primarily on construction documentation after the design and 3D model stages are complete. You will work in Revit to develop and update coordinated drawing sets annotations notes details revisions and city correction packages.

The ideal candidate already understands how U.S. residential wood-frame buildings are put together and can work productively in Revit without needing basic construction concepts explained from scratch.

This is a full-time remote position requiring a few hours of daily overlap with the clients U.S. team.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on proficiency in Autodesk Revit for architectural production.
  
• Professional experience working on residential construction documentation and coordinated plan sets.
  
• Practical understanding of U.S.-style residential wood-frame construction.
  
• Familiarity with floor systems stem walls joists roof assemblies overhangs ventilation and other basic wood-frame building components.
  
• Ability to work with existing 3D models and templates and develop complete construction documents annotations notes details and revisions.
  
• Experience updating plan sets based on markups review comments and permitting/city corrections.
  
• Ability to work independently think logically and solve routine production problems without constant supervision.
  
• Strong attention to detail organization and quality control.
  
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  

Preferred

• Experience working on U.S. residential projects.
  
• Experience with Southern California residential projects.
  
• Experience preparing permit drawing sets for California jurisdictions.
  
• Familiarity with California building codes and residential permitting requirements.
  
• Structural drafting or structural engineering background.
  
• Experience with Revit 2023 or newer.
