COMPANY OVERVIEW:
The company is a leading terminal operator managing port berths under a long-term concession with the Karachi Port Trust (KPT). It plays a critical role in facilitating Pakistans maritime trade by delivering efficient reliable and technology-driven terminal operations. With a strong focus on trade facilitation.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing maintaining and updating the project cost control
    plan budgets cost breakdown structures (CBS) and cost-loaded
    schedules for the project workstreams.
  • Track committed costs accruals invoiced amounts and actual
    expenditure against approved budget; produce variance analysis and
    cost-to-complete (CTC) and estimate-at-completion (EAC) forecasts.
  • Support the change management process by registering tracking and
    reporting on Variation Orders Change Requests and contractor claims;
    maintain the change register and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate the invoice approval workflow between contractors PMC
    Project Management Function Finance and Procurement; ensure
    timely verification approval and recording of payment certificates.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports dashboards and
    management decks; support preparation of cash flow forecasts
    accruals and month-end close inputs for Finance.
  • Maintain commitment registers purchase order trackers and contract
    value reconciliations for each workstream.
  • Coordinate cross-functional meetings (kick-offs progress reviews
    contractor coordination meetings); circulate agendas minutes of
    meeting action logs and follow up on outstanding actions.
  • Support contract administration activities including correspondence
    drafting contractual notice tracking and maintenance of contractual
    logs in coordination with the Commercial Manager.
  • Assist in preparing tender comparisons bid evaluation summaries and
    procurement documentation in support of project sourcing activities.
  • Assist the Cost & Contracts Manager and Project Director in cost and
    commercial decision-making by providing timely accurate and wellpresented information data and analysis.
  • Support the continuous improvement of project coordination cost
    control and reporting practices; contribute to the standardisation of
    tools templates and workflows across project
    workstreams.
  • Note: Additional or other tasks and projects may be assigned as per
    business requirements.
