The Role
As aProcess Designer Level Iwith Worleyyou will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
- To support the execution of process design and drafting activities in line with Worley standards and project requirements. The role involves assisting engineers and designers in developing high-quality design deliverables while building competency in process design tools systems and workflows.
- Prepare and deliver process design drawings and documentation as per project requirements.
- Back-draft drawings based on mark-ups provided by Engineers and Senior Designers.
- Assist in developing conceptual layouts and basic engineering diagrams.
- Generate drawings using 3D intelligent modeling tools and databases.
- Perform self-checking of drawings to ensure accuracy and quality compliance.
- Support preparation of Material Take-Offs (MTOs).
- Maintain and organize project drawings files and records.
- Adhere to Worley quality standards procedures and design practices.
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Diploma / Degree in Engineering Technology (Chemical / Process or relevant discipline).
- Recognized design qualification or equivalent.
- Understanding of discipline-specific engineering standards codes and design practices.
- Familiarity with process design documentation and its role in project execution.
- Basic knowledge of relevant drafting standards (e.g. AS1100 or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD / MicroStation / SmartPlant P&ID (SPP&ID).
- Exposure to 3D modeling tools / databases.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of drawing office deliverables and workflows.
- Exposure to offshore oil & gas / EPC projects.
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary project environments.
