Plant Worker (Mechanical Technician)

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of plant machinery (mixers conveyors pumps etc.)
• Diagnose faults and repair or replace mechanical components (bearings belts seals etc.
• Carry out fabrication work including welding cutting and grinding
• Assist in installation alignment and modification of equipment
• Conduct routine inspections to identify leaks vibrations or abnormal conditions
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures especially for hot work activities
• Maintain basic maintenance records and report breakdowns
• Support production team during breakdowns and urgent maintenance needs

Qualifications :

• Minimum Matric/FSc candidates with DAE Mechanical will be preferred
• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferably in an industrial setup
• Knowledge of mechanical systems rotating equipment and plant machinery
• Hands-on skills in welding (arc gas MIG/TIG) and gas cutting
• Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance practices
• Knowledge of tools equipment and spare parts used in maintenance
• Understanding of safety procedures especially hot work and permit-to-work systems
• Basic knowledge of alignment fitting and fabrication techniques
• Ability to use measuring instruments (vernier caliper micrometer etc.)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic documentation and reporting skills
