The Department of Community Health Sciences (CHS) is the leading unit of its type in Pakistan recognized regionally and internationally for the relevance quality and extent of its work in support of public health and the development of primary health care systems. It comprises of five major operational sections: Epidemiology & biostatistics Health policy & management Population & reproductive health Environmental health & climate change and non-communicable diseases & mental health.

This is a grant funded contractual position.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible to:

maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned office areas
assist in arranging meeting rooms training rooms and workspaces
serve tea water and refreshments during meetings and official activities
handle the movement and distribution of files documents stationery and other office items
assist with photocopying scanning printing filing and basic office support tasks
support the receipt arrangement and distribution of office supplies and materials
assist staff with routine office errands and administrative support
help with setting up and organizing meetings workshops trainings and departmental events
ensure office equipment furniture and supplies are handled carefully and report any issues to the supervisor
assist with internal and external deliveries and collection of documents when required
perform other routine duties assigned by the supervisor in support of departmental activities

Requirements

You should have:

minimum Middle/Matric qualification; preferably Matric
previous experience in an office institutional or similar support role will be preferred.
basic understanding of office routines and workplace etiquette
ability to communicate and interact courteously with staff visitors and other stakeholders
responsible punctual reliable and willing to support a range of office activities
ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
good organizational skills and attention to cleanliness and order
physically able to perform routine office support tasks including moving files and supplies when required.
