Job Summary
Mandatory skill - MS SQL Database Admin along with Azure knowledge (IaaS and PaaS) - L3 Level
Location - PAN India
Experience - 5-10 Years
JD : Strong MSSQL fundamentals including hands-on experience in SQL Server administration performance tuning troubleshooting and core database concepts. Cloud exposure is desirable candidates with solid MSSQL expertise and basic to moderate cloud knowledge would be a good fit for the role.
- Extensive experience in MSSQL database administration including high availability setups such as Always On Availability Groups failover clustering and log shipping
- Strong focus on database performance tuning indexing strategies and query optimisation
- Hands-on experience with backup/recovery disaster recovery planning patching and vulnerability remediation
- Responsibility for incident management (P1/P2) production support and system monitoring
- Exposure to Azure SQL platformsmainly from a migration and infrastructure management perspective
- Emphasis on automation (PowerShell/Python) and operational efficiency
Additionally the primary responsibilities outlined in the JD revolve around:
- Managing and supporting database environments to ensure availability performance and security
- Handling database lifecycle activitiessuch as upgrades patching and restoration
- Driving operational monitoring incident resolution and system stability
- Supporting cloud migration initiativesfrom an infrastructure/DBA standpoint
