MongoDB Lead

The purpose of this role is to facilitate application solutions by developing and reviewing module-level codes creating replication patterns performing root cause analysis to identify recurring issues and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure stable well-documented deliverables that meet business objectives.

Position Summary:

The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing building and operating scalable data platforms and pipelines that support enterprise analytics reporting automation and downstream application use cases. This role requires strong expertise in data engineering fundamentals distributed data processing data modeling and performance optimization across batch and streaming workloads. The Senior Data Engineer will partner closely with application teams platform engineering analytics and business stakeholders to translate complex data requirements into reliable governed and productionready data solutions from design through steadystate operations.

Requires Skills:

7 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer working on productionscale data systems.

7 years of strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data transformation pipeline development and performance optimization.

7 years of extensive experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data processing workflows.

7 years of handson experience with relational and NoSQL databases ( mongodb) including data modeling and query optimization.

Experience working with distributed data platforms and cloudbased data storage solutions.

Solid understanding of data partitioning file formats and compression strategies for large datasets.

Experience operating in Linux environments with scripting for automation and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with CI/CD practices for data pipelines including testing versioning and deployment automation.

Experience collaborating in Agile teams using Gitbased workflows.
