MIDDLE MANAGEMENT POSITION – OPERATIONS

Our Client a Karachi based company seeks to appoint an experienced and seasoned professional for the following role:

MIDDLE MANAGEMENT POSITION OPERATIONS (HSE & EXCELLENCE)

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of HSE policy and procedure during all operational/maintenance/ development activities within all Operation locations for safe and smooth operations
• Coordinate with relevant facility staff for timely and efficient closure of HSE Audit Observations
• Evaluate identify prioritize and facilitate in the resolution potential hazards non-compliance and HSE-related risks in order to enhance facilitys compliance
• Conduct periodic inspections of facility to identify and resolve any potential Hazard to safeguard people plant and process
• Coordinate budgeting for upkeep of Facilitys firefighting network and overall HSE
• Train guide and evaluate operational staff to further inculcate HSE culture in practices
• Ensure that the Installations/Depots comply with statutory requirements and follow the regulations rules pertaining to HSE and other activates being carried out
• Prepare and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on matters regarding HSE
• Undertake any other task or function as may be desired by the management

Education

• Minimum 16 years of education preferably Masters from a renowned and HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder institution preferably in Engineering.

Experience

• Minimum 6-8 years of professional experience preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 2-6 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position.

• Relevant HSE/ OHS certifications such as NEBOSH NFPA etc.

Requirements

• Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated ability to think strategically regarding business growth creative planning and audience targeting
• Experience in improvement of operational management systems processes and best practices
• In depth knowledge of operations management preferably in the oil sector
• Excellent analytical problem solving and organizational skills
• In depth knowledge of relevant statutory and regulatory frameworks and international standards
• Experience in coordinating and resolving HSE issues related to operations
• Development of cordial relationships with relevant stakeholders

Age

• The candidate should preferably be not more than 40 years of age as of the last date of submission of application.
