Lead Integration & Backend Developer (.NET Core | Azure)
Job Summary
Location: Karachi Lahore Islamabad (Remote)
Experience: 8 yearsJob Summary
- Design develop and maintain scalable backend APIs using .NET Core
- Build and manage integrations using Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions (Serverless)
- Implement and manage RESTful APIs ensuring performance scalability and reliability
- Configure and enforce API Gateway policies including throttling routing and transformations
- Implement OAuth2 authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Manage and optimize Azure API Management (APIM) for:
- Multi-tenant product packaging
- Rate limiting
- Subscription key management
- Ensure secure encrypted end-to-end data transmission between Azure and on-premise systems
- Design and maintain hybrid integration solutions connecting cloud and enterprise applications
- Set up and manage On-Premises Data Gateways for seamless hybrid connectivity
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration and performance issues across distributed systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps Security and Architecture teams
- Strong experience in .NET Core / Core for backend development
- Hands-on expertise with:
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure Functions
- Deep understanding of:
- REST APIs
- API Gateway policies
- OAuth2 / API security frameworks
- Extensive experience with Azure API Management (APIM)
- Solid knowledge of hybrid cloud architecture and integration patterns
- Experience implementing secure communication protocols and encryption standards
- Hands-on experience with On-Premises Data Gateway setup and management
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns (EIP)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Azure certifications (e.g. AZ-204 AZ-305) are a plus
