Lead Design & Proposal Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Design & Proposal Engineer ELV Systems to lead the design engineering estimation and preparation of techno-commercial proposals for ELV and Integrated Smart Building Solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in security communication ICT infrastructure and life-safety systems while collaborating closely with sales consultants OEMs and clients to deliver competitive and compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Design & Engineering:

• Review RFQs tender documents specifications drawings and BOQs for ELV projects.
• Design integrated ELV and Smart Building solutions based on project requirements.
• Prepare system architecture network topology riser diagrams and technical schematics.
• Perform equipment sizing solution optimization and value engineering.
• Develop BOQs and accurate cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications international standards and client requirements.
• Participate in technical discussions with clients consultants and contractors.

2. ELV Systems Expertise:

• IP Telephony Systems
• Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems
• Parking & Visitor Management Systems
• Physical Security Information Management (PSIM)
• Smart Building Solutions
• Building Management System (BMS) Integration
• Fire Alarm Integration
• Command & Control Center Solutions

Proposal & Pre-Sales:

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
• Develop compliance matrices and tender documentation.
• Conduct bid risk assessments and identify commercial risks.
• Coordinate with OEMs for solution selection pricing and technical support.
• Participate in bid clarification meetings and technical presentations.
• Support the sales team throughout the pre-sales cycle.
• Ensure timely and high-quality submission of proposals.

Vendor & Team Leadership:

• Build and maintain relationships with leading OEMs and technology partners.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
• Negotiate technical and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Review technical submissions prepared by proposal engineers.
• Mentor and develop team members while establishing proposal standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Telecommunication Engineering Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience:

• 810 years of experience in ELV systems design engineering and proposal management.
• Proven experience delivering proposals for commercial hospitality healthcare mixed-use airport data center or smart city projects.
• Strong understanding of integrated security systems and smart building technologies.
