Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Video Editor to join our team at Shape Solutions Private Limited on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their editing career who is eager to learn develop their skills and gain hands-on experience working on a variety of digital content projects.

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of video editing a good eye for detail and a passion for creating engaging content for social media and digital platforms.

You will work closely with senior team members and content creators to assist in producing high-quality video content that aligns with brand guidelines and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media websites and marketing campaigns
Trim and arrange video clips according to provided briefs and guidelines.
Add basic text transitions music sound effects and graphics to videos.
Create simple motion graphics and animated text elements using Adobe After Effects.
Assist in preparing video content for different platforms formats and aspect ratios.
Organize and manage video files assets and project folders.
Make revisions and updates based on feedback from the team.
Ensure completed videos meet quality and brand standards.
Stay updated with current social media video editing and content creation trends.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro CapCut DaVinci Resolve and Adobe After Effects for simple animations motion graphics and text effects.
A portfolio showreel academic projects or personal work demonstrating editing skills.
Understanding of basic video editing principles pacing and storytelling.
Familiarity with social media platforms and content formats.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Fresh graduates and candidates with internship or freelance experience are encouraged to apply
