Junior Site Speed Specialist

As a Junior Site Speed Specialist you will support the day-to-day monitoring and reporting of website performance across key tools (e.g. Datadog RUM/APM SpeedCurve Lighthouse). You will help identify performance regressions maintain dashboards support CRO A/B test performance checks assist with release monitoring help maintain a performance backlog in Jira and provide recommendations to improve site speed and overall performance based on your findings and data insights.

You will:

• Daily monitoring: Support daily checks of dashboards and alerts for key pages (Home Search/PLP PDP Cart Checkout) and help flag anomalies or regressions with supporting evidence.
• Weekly reporting support: Support preparation of weekly performance updates (charts/tables deltas first-level commentary) using defined templates and time windows.
• Core Web Vitals tracking: Support ongoing CWV monitoring (LCP INP CLS) by collecting data identifying trends and highlighting meaningful changes for review.

You have:

• Experience: 12 years in a relevant area (web performance technical SEO web analytics QA frontend support or similar).
• Web performance fundamentals: Basic understanding of Core Web Vitals (LCP INP CLS) and common real-world causes.
• Tool familiarity: Comfortable using Lighthouse/PageSpeed Insights and Chrome DevTools (especially Network tab; basic waterfall reading).
• Analytical skills: Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (filters pivots basic charts) and ability to summarize data accurately.
