Our Client a Karachi based company seeks to appoint an experienced and seasoned professional for the following role:

JUNIOR MANAGEMENT POSITION - INFRASTRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION (CIVIL)

(PROJECT MANAGEMENT & CONSTRUCTION)

Job Role

To plan coordinate and monitor all phases of assigned civil projects for timely development and upgradation of Fuel storageinfrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate scoping details and cost estimations to drive Capital Budget development for indenting departments
• Accelerate PR package preparation for all civil projects as per tendering requirements and stipulated timelines
• Evaluate emerging technologies and economically viable options to optimize project quality cost and scheduling
• Execute technical bid evaluations swiftly within stipulated timelines
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with Work Orders SOPs Engineering Standards HSE requirements management guidelines and applicable statutory laws codes and regulations
• Supervise and ensure quality of works materials and equipment; ensure formal closure of projects and maintain accurate project records/electronic databases
• Harmonize cross-functional stakeholders including contractors execution teams and internal customers to resolve field bottlenecks
• Expedite Goods Issuance (GI) activities to reconcile material inventory for capital projects
• Perform design review final inspection of the project to identify any issue in quality of workmanship and prepares measurement book maintains project log books at site as per the actual work executed
• Ensure timely processing of invoices and other related documents as per the prevalent company process
• Compile audit responses and document project lessons learned to optimize future project frameworks
• Undertake any other task or function as may be assigned by the Management

Education

• Minimum 16 years of education in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized university/institution or equivalent foreign qualification

• Masters degree in Engineering Project Management Business Administration or related discipline will be an added advantage

Experience

• Minimum 3 - 4 years of relevant post-qualification experience in civil engineering project execution construction or project management preferably in the oil & gas or other process industry with 1 - 2 years of functional experience in the related field.

Key Requirements

• Frequent site visits required to supervise construction activities
• Provide technical support in the development of the indenting departments capital budget and ensure its execution
• Maintain regular contact with Indenting & Support departments and Contractors etc.
• Coordinate with other functions including HSE and Audit for smooth and efficient execution of Projects
