Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 13 years of accounting experience and hands-on expertise with QuickBooks Enterprise. This role involves supporting day-to-day accounting operations maintaining accurate financial records assisting with financial reporting and working closely with the Senior Accountant to ensure smooth financial processes.
Process and maintain Accounts Payable (AP) including vendor invoices and Purchase Orders (POs).
Maintain the general ledger and perform bank and account reconciliation.
Prepare and post journal entries while supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records and supporting documentation.
Coordinate with vendors to resolve invoice and payment-related queries.
Assist with internal and external audit requirements by providing necessary documentation.
Work closely with the Senior Accountant on daily accounting operations and finance-related tasks.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting best practices.
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
13 years of accounting experience preferably in a B2B environment.
Hands-on experience using QuickBooks Enterprise is mandatory.
Good understanding of Accounts Payable general ledger management reconciliation journal entries and financial reporting.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
Experience working with international clients or organizations.
Familiarity with accounting controls and financial compliance processes.
