The Role:

We are looking for a proactive IT Officer to join our team at IDR. This role is responsible for managing and supporting the organizations information technology systems and services. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure maintaining security and providing technical support to end-users. The position requires a combination of technical expertise problem-solving skills and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• User and License Management

Manage Azure Active Directory and MS365 user accounts and licenses.
Oversee MS365 Admin Centre (Exchange SharePoint OneDrive Azure Teams).

• Technical Support and Troubleshooting

Troubleshoot Windows Office network connections and desktop applications.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
Support remote users and create documentation for common queries.
Manage help desk ticketing and IT asset management.

• System and Network Administration

Perform routine system checks (daily weekly monthly).
Plan install configure troubleshoot maintain and upgrade operating systems.
Provide hands-on support with LAN/WAN infrastructure and devices (switches routers firewalls).

• Audio-Visual and Conference Room Support

Assist with audio-visual setups and technical support for conference room equipment.

• Network and Security Management

Conduct network troubleshooting and manage firewall settings for security.
Install and manage endpoint security solutions and ensure compliance.
Monitor and respond to security alerts investigate incidents and prepare reports.
Collaborate with teams to address recurring security issues and maintain communication on policies.

• Information Security Compliance

Ensure adherence to IDRs information security policies.

Education:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or IT or related/relevant experience.

Experience:
4-5 years of hands-on experience in the same capacity.

Preferred Skills:

Adequate verbal and written communication skills
Excellent collaboration skills to understand and align multiple stakeholders.
Able to handle tight deadlines and pressure situations.
Resilience in dealing with changing expectations and the environment.
Strong ability to understand and solve problems that arise in daily operations.
Ability to deconstruct information into smaller categories to draw conclusions.
Ability to take ownership of the assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Well-versed with Microsoft 365 AWS Azure Services Windows 11.
