Position Overview:
The IAM Security Analyst - Level I will perform identity and access management as well as assist in information security functions in support of the companys operations. Other functions include privileged access management network access control and security incident review/response. The IAM Security Analyst - Level I is expected to interface with other business units as part of the employee onboarding and offboarding process as well as while performing adjustments of rights as required for role changes. The role will also interact with security networking and system team peers to assist in responding to events and escalations and help ensure the companys security posture and processes are continuously improving.
What youll do as theIAM Security Analyst:
Employees employed in the role ofIAM Security Analyst shall be required to apply their independent minds and demonstrate intellectual abilities in their decision-making.
- Oversee the companys process of Identify and Access Management (IAM) with a security focus
- Work with other members of the team to streamline and automate the companys IAM processes to lessen the workload and improve organization security
- Assist in developing strategic roadmaps for IAM systems and the program
- Assist in developing enterprise-wide standards for IAM
- Monitor system logs SIEM tools and other security tools for unusual or suspicious activity
- Monitor internal control systems to ensure appropriate information access levels and security is maintained
- Implement or coordinate remediation required by policies standards reviews and audits documenting exceptions as necessary
- Conduct audits and reviews of endpoint network and system security controls and manage remediation efforts
- Conduct risk analysis threat and vulnerability assessments
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you will bring to the team:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Management Information Systems or related technical field.
CERTIFICATES/LICENSES ETC:
Equivalent technical training and/or IT certifications required as related to IAM.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience in enterprise Identity and Access Management
Experience in process documentation and improvement
Working knowledge of fundamental security principles such as RBAC and PoLP
Knowledge and experience with identity and cloud security technologies
Working technical knowledge of endpoint security systems
Strong understanding of IP TCP/IP and other network administration protocols
Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
Familiarity with Dynamics 365 FnO and CE applications
Experience scripting using:
- PowerShell
- Azure Cloud shell
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Good written oral and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Ability to conduct research into IT security issues and products as required
Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
Highly self-motivated and directed
Keen attention to detail
Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment
