Job Title: Head of Software Quality Assurance (SQA)

We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Head of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) to lead the overall QA function define quality standards and drive excellence across all software products. The ideal candidate will oversee manual and automation testing teams establish best practices ensure product reliability and align quality assurance processes with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the overall QA strategy policies and quality standards across projects.
Lead manage and mentor QA teams including Senior QA Engineers Automation Engineers and Junior Testers.
Oversee test planning execution and reporting for manual and automated testing initiatives.
Ensure the effectiveness of automation frameworks using Selenium Playwright or Cypress.
Collaborate with Engineering Product and DevOps teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
Drive continuous improvement in QA processes tools methodologies and performance metrics.
Monitor product quality release readiness risk management and defect resolution.
Establish and maintain CI/CD quality gates and testing pipelines.
Prepare quality reports dashboards and executive-level updates for leadership.
Promote a culture of accountability innovation and continuous learning within the QA team.
Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance including 3 years in a leadership or management role.
Technical Skills: Strong expertise in manual and automation testing Selenium Playwright or Cypress QA methodologies SDLC STLC Agile/Scrum CI/CD tools and test management platforms.
Soft Skills: Excellent leadership strategic thinking problem-solving communication stakeholder management decision-making and team development skills
Preference: Experience in Financial industry especially POS (Point of Sale) sector.
