Graphic Design UI-UX Trainee

• Assist in designing website layouts landing pages and digital storefronts under senior designer guidance.
• Support the creation of UI components wireframes and mockups for websites and web applications.
• Help design marketing assets: social media graphics banners email templates and presentation materials.
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into revised design iterations.
• Assist with basic UX research and usability considerations when designing pages and flows.
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and design systems across projects.
• Collaborate closely with developers and content writers to ensure designs translate accurately into finished pages.
• Organize and prepare design files/assets for handoff to development.

Qualifications

• A portfolio (academic personal or freelance projects) showing design fundamentals: layout typography color and hierarchy.
• Basic proficiency in design tools such as Figma Adobe XD Photoshop or Illustrator.
• Interest in or basic understanding of UI/UX principles (usability user flows responsive design).
• Strong attention to visual detail and consistency.
• Ability to take direction and feedback well and iterate quickly on designs.
• Familiarity with web or ecommerce platforms (Shopify WordPress) is a plus but not required.
• Degree or coursework in Graphic Design UI/UX Visual Communication or a related field preferred; recent graduates encouraged to apply.
