Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and driven Engineering Manager / Tech Lead Data AI & Development to lead our engineering initiatives across software development data engineering artificial intelligence and machine learning. This role combines strong technical leadership with people management responsibilities ensuring the successful delivery of scalable high-quality technology solutions that support business growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering AI/ML technologies data platforms cloud infrastructure and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of software engineers data engineers and AI/ML specialists.
- Define and drive the technical roadmap for development data and AI initiatives.
- Architect scalable secure and high-performance solutions across web mobile and backend systems.
- Oversee the design development deployment and maintenance of data pipelines and AI/ML models.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Establish engineering best practices coding standards and development processes.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Manage sprint planning resource allocation and project execution.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies tools and frameworks.
- Monitor system performance reliability and security across platforms.
- Foster a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Data Science or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in software development with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong expertise in modern programming languages such as Java or .
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks and data platforms.
- Experience designing and managing cloud-based solutions (AWS Azure or GCP).
- Strong understanding of software architecture system design APIs and microservices.
- Experience working with databases ETL processes and data warehousing solutions.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies.
- Excellent communication stakeholder management and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Generative AI LLMs and AI-powered product development.
- Knowledge of MLOps DataOps and modern analytics platforms.
- Experience leading remote and cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to fintech or digital product environments is a plus.
