Department Manager – Fresh Fruits & Vegetables

• Report to the CEM and assist in stock ordering and maintaining optimal stock levels in the department.
• Lead the team of Store Associates in mass merchandising shelf management stock management and maintaining department cleanliness.
• Drive productivity improvement and enhance operational efficiency.
• Assist the FM in achieving the departments sales targets.
• Manage the department during overnight operations in accordance with DSO (Dark Store Operations) protocols and ensure the department is fully ready before store opening.
• Ensure proper product presentation in accordance with the Planogram.
• Ensure secondary displays are maintained as per BMPL guidelines.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with SOPs and comply with all relevant protocols and policies.
• Ensure discipline in timekeeping and professional attire in accordance with uniform guidelines.
• Conduct QA checks by following all defined protocols and checklists to consistently maintain quality standards.
• Monitor and maintain records of product expiries during and after stock deliveries and ensure FIFO (First In First Out) is followed.
• Ensure effective stock and shelf management.
