Department Manager Dry Food Beverages, Sweets & Confectionery

• Report to the Customer Experience Manager (CEM) and assist in stock ordering while maintaining optimum stock levels within the department.
• Lead a team of Store Associates to ensure effective merchandising shelf management stock management and overall department cleanliness.
• Drive productivity improvements by enhancing operational efficiency.
• Assist the Customer Experience Manager (CEM) in achieving the departments sales targets.
• Manage the overnight mechanization of the department in accordance with DSO (Dark Store Operations) protocols and ensure the department is ready before store opening.
• Ensure products are displayed according to the approved planogram.
• Maintain secondary displays in line with BMPL guidelines.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with SOPs and comply with all company policies and operational protocols.
• Maintain discipline in timekeeping and ensure professional attire in accordance with the companys uniform guidelines.
• Conduct QA checks by following all defined protocols and checklists to maintain quality standards.
• Monitor product expiry dates during and after stock deliveries and ensure strict adherence to the FIFO (First In First Out) principle.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree (Graduation) or equivalent.
