Position Overview:

TheDemand Planneris responsible for a variety of projects and processes that help ensure our product is in the right place at the right time and in the right quantities. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical individual who is comfortable dealing with large data sets to optimize and manage inventory. They should possess excellent project management and communication skills as they will serve as a key liaison between the operations supply chain and warehousing teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an analytical and puzzle solving mindset who wants to intersect a passion for inventory management with analytics and data management.

What you will do as the Demand Planner:

Employees employed in the role ofDemand Plannershall be required to apply their independent mind and demonstrate intellectual abilities in their decision-making.

• Analyze SKU inventory management minimizing overall inventory levels
• Formulate in-depth inventory forecasts across product types
• Manage and analyze inventories for all clients
• Assist in Weekly Order Review process
• Work cross-functionallyin order todrive aged inventory to $0
• Drive process improvement throughout the Demand Planning team

What you will bring to the team:

• Four-year university degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or Finance
• Statistical analysis skills and experience working with very large data sets
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an Analyst type position
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools with Advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables power pivot lookups formulas data sourcing) required.
• Experience with spreadsheet tools and demand planning software such as Kinaxis
• Experience in Supply Chain and Planning background preferred with experience in multiple disciplines (e.g. manufacturing planning logistics etc.)
• Familiarity with supply chain and procurement processes and strategy
• Knowledge of and experience with best practices in inventory and materials management (e.g. Classification Methods (ABCD) Safety Stock Lean Consignment etc.)
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (such as negotiation influence and presentation skills) with the ability to communicate effectively to direct and motivate stakeholders to meet business objectives.
• Demonstrated problem solving time-management customer service negotiation interpersonal decision making organization and communication skills.

What you will bring to the team:

• Familiarity with the Enterprise IT procurement channel
• Microsoft AX/Dynamics and/or other commercial inventory management systems
• Microsoft CRM and Power BI
